Hardy vence en el Turbo Pipeline Pro.

Ryan Hardy volvió a la primera línea del bodyboard al hacerse con el título de ganador del Turbo Pipeline Pro.

El australiano Ryan Hardy, con su estilo inconfundible se impuso en una final de lujo, seguido muy de cerca por el francés Pierre Louis Costes.Tamega y Winchester fueron tercero y cuarto respectivamente.

Este tercer día de competición a disfrutado de un Pipeline épico con olas de 4 a 6 piés, que seguro llenarán muchas hojas en revistas y minutos en películas.

La octava ronda fue muy negativa para nuestros representantes, logrando clasificarse únicamente Ardiel Jiménez para cuartos de final, donde sería eliminado. La final empezó siendo liderada por Pierre Louis hasta pasada la mitad de la manga. Hardy baja una de las grandes, entra en un tubazo muy profundo y termina con un rollo alto. No era suficiente para ganar a Pierre, y en unos minutos entra en otro tubo y termina la ola con un backflip en la sessión crítica que esta vez basta para superar por apenas unas décimas al francés 15.86 frente al 15.20. La próxima parada del circuito mundial será en el mes de Abril, con dos pruebas en Brasil.
